Staff Machine Learning Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement state-of-the-art generative workflows for ad creative.
  • Build image and video editing systems for smart cropping, inpainting, outpainting, resizing, and style transfer.
  • Preserve products, fonts, logos, brand assets, and other brand guidelines in generated content.
  • Fine-tune LLMs and VLMs using ad performance feedback such as CTR and CVR.
  • Develop RLHF/RLPF feedback loops for advertising generation systems.
  • Engineer brand-safety filters, copyright checks, compliance layers, and human-in-the-loop escalation paths.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Policy, UX, and Ads ML teams to integrate ACE into the Ad Manager UI and ad delivery path.

Requirements

  • Hands-on expertise with tree models, neural networks, ranking, LLM/VLM fine-tuning, and RLHF/RLPF for advertising.
  • Experience with uplift metrics, variance, minimum detectable effects, and experimentation for generative systems.
  • Understanding of auction dynamics and advertiser needs in advertising or marketplace environments.
  • Prior experience building ad creative tools such as headline or image generators, pre-test models, or advertiser editing flows.
  • Ability to communicate complex machine-learning trade-offs to executives, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience with brand-safety, privacy, or copyright frameworks in generative AI products is preferred.
