Responsibilities

  • Build and ship full-stack features, integrations, and customer-specific customizations across front-end UI, APIs, services, and deployment configuration.
  • Work directly with technical partners and enterprise customers to understand environments and requirements and turn them into technical plans and working software.
  • Support pilots, proofs of concept, and early production deployments in partner-hosted and customer-controlled environments.
  • Diagnose and fix complex application, infrastructure, identity and access, integration, and data-access issues that require code changes and releases.
  • Maintain customer-specific customizations as the core product evolves.
  • Turn recurring customer requests into reusable product capabilities rather than one-off solutions.
  • Bring deployment feedback into roadmap and prioritization discussions.
  • Create documentation, deployment guidance, and runbooks for partner self-service.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant Staff-level production application work.
  • Strong full-stack skills with modern TypeScript or JavaScript, component-based front-end frameworks, back-end services, APIs, and integrations.
  • Meaningful technical customer, partner, or systems-integrator experience that included writing code; forward-deployed, embedded, consulting, and implementation engineering experience qualifies.
  • Experience building or supporting AI-enabled applications such as LLM platforms, RAG systems, agents, enterprise search, or data connectors.
  • Understanding of enterprise deployment concerns including authentication, identity providers, access control, self-hosted and hybrid infrastructure, observability, and reliability.
  • Sound judgment about customization, product generalization, and pushing back on unsuitable requests.
  • Clear communication with technical implementers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in an early-stage product environment.
  • Bonus: experience with self-hosted, private cloud, sovereign, or regulated environments.
  • Bonus: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment.
  • Bonus: experience with European enterprise or public-sector customers, data residency, or sovereignty requirements.
  • Bonus: experience supporting security reviews, privacy assessments, or enterprise procurement.
  • Bonus: open-source contributions or experience in open collaborative engineering environments.
