Responsibilities

Lead technical security design and review processes for security-critical systems.
Apply deep expertise in one or more security domains such as Cloud Security, AppSec, or Data.
Identify inefficient or insufficient technical approaches and redirect efforts toward higher-impact outcomes.
Build advanced tools and automation for security monitoring and incident response.
Translate complex security objectives into defined deliverables and architectural requirements.
Provide rigorous code and design review feedback and mentor the engineering organization.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to make high-stakes technical decisions that improve long-term security outcomes.
Strong strategic problem-solving skills focused on root-cause analysis and risk reduction.
Ability to communicate complex security risks effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to develop creative solutions that reduce technical debt and improve security infrastructure efficiency.
Ability to manage complex escalations and security incidents with disciplined, comprehensive analysis and resolution.
Experience or mastery in one or more technical security domains, such as Cloud Security, AppSec, or Data.

Benefits

Remote work is available, with occasional travel to Garner's NYC headquarters.
Target base salary range is $258,000-$310,000.
Eligible for equity incentives and competitive benefits.
