Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in Netskope’s cloud security solutions and help design and qualify the overall solution.
  • Gather requirements, participate in design discussions, and understand Secure Web Gateway use cases and workflows.
  • Design test plans and test strategy documents in collaboration with development teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Own quality decisions and improve test processes and QE best practices.
  • Provide end-to-end ownership from feature testing through production deployment, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with development, product, support, and other stakeholders on strategy, planning, risks, and mitigations.
  • Handle customer escalations, analyze test gaps, and improve test plans and strategies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, respond to outages and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure the Netskope web interface works across major browser technologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience developing tests and automation for web inline network security.
  • Experience with enterprise inline security products such as SWG, CFW, NGFW, IPS, proxies, SASE, or Zero Trust platforms.
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, load balancing, proxies, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong Python programming expertise.
  • Solid experience with web user interface testing.
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or equivalent solutions.
  • Expertise with Selenium or Playwright UI automation and RESTful web service automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Wireshark or Fiddler for traffic analysis.
  • Knowledge of CI tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitLab.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with traffic generators such as JMeter, IX Load, Breaking Point Solution, or Spirent is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
