Responsibilities

Architect and scale high-throughput data-processing pipelines and serving infrastructure for real-time ad delivery.
Build a next-generation Ads data platform with self-service capabilities for deploying data into production.
Translate business and advertising logic into highly distributed, efficient, scalable, and resilient system architectures.
Lead the development of large-scale data-serving infrastructure and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a closely related field.
At least 6 years of backend software development experience.
Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS, and with highly available distributed systems.
Experience building ad-serving systems and highly scalable, low-latency services.
Experience leading projects that build large-scale data-serving platforms.
Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
Preferred experience includes advertising systems, search advertising, advertising marketplaces, display advertising, ad servers, Spark, Hive, Redis, and Kafka.
Preferred experience includes multi-threaded or multi-process distributed systems, mission-critical services, automation, optimization, and cross-functional technical leadership.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
