Responsibilities

Build and ship generative AI-powered user experiences, including natural language commands and AI agents.
Own major software features from conception through deployment and iteration.
Scale the platform to ingest terabytes of data from varied sources.
Develop real-time data querying and user notification capabilities.
Optimize search algorithms for fast results.
Collaborate with engineers, deployment teams, users, and cross-functional partners to solve customer problems.
Write robust, well-tested, and well-designed production software.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Over 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software professionally and/or in the open-source community.
Understanding of responsible generative AI practices, with bonus experience applying LLMs to improve user experiences.
Strong understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems.
Strong modern software-development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
Located in San Francisco and open to working in the office.
Ability to own large portions of an application and translate product requests into reliable software components.
