Responsibilities

Own the full product lifecycle from business requirements and technology selection through coding standards, development, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and maintenance.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend platforms and data pipelines.
Build stable, fault-tolerant, highly performant systems serving millions of users.
Direct significant company-wide projects and set technical vision and team direction.
Make architectural decisions and establish engineering standards.
Implement advanced CI/CD pipelines and robust testing strategies.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with diverse teams on product and technology goals.

Requirements

8+ years of experience developing performance-critical applications in a production environment using Scala, Java, Kotlin, or other relevant modern programming languages.
Strong relational database management system knowledge, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or another RDBMS.
Experience directing significant company-wide projects and setting technical vision.
Deep involvement in architectural decisions and setting technical standards and direction.
Ability to implement advanced CI/CD pipelines and robust testing strategies.
Good command of the English language and strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
