Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and drive the architectural vision and technical roadmap for a major UI platform subsystem.
  • Serve as the design reviewer for high-impact proposals and cross-team interface specifications.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve technical ambiguity across multiple product teams.
  • Translate product strategy into actionable technical architecture.
  • Build reusable components, shared libraries, frameworks, and tools for feature teams.
  • Implement complex foundational platform components and ensure their technical quality.
  • Mentor Senior Engineers, share knowledge, and establish engineering best practices.
  • Ensure platform systems support accessibility, scalability, maintainability, and world-ready software delivery.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Expertise in software architecture and implementation using a language such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Significant experience with frameworks such as Spring, React.js, or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering designs, principles, and practices for scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Preferred experience defining and implementing internationalization and localization strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Preferred specialized knowledge of Unicode, ISO standards, and localization frameworks.
  • Preferred experience with globalization testing processes.
  • Preferred experience working on platform teams that treat developers as customers.
