Responsibilities

Define and own the architectural vision and technical roadmap for a major UI platform subsystem.
Review high-impact technical proposals and cross-team interface specifications.
Drive alignment across product teams and translate product strategy into technical architecture.
Build reusable components, shared libraries, frameworks, and design patterns for world-ready UIs and APIs.
Mentor Senior Engineers, share knowledge, and establish engineering best practices.
Implement complex foundational platform components and ensure their technical quality.

Requirements

7+ years of software development experience.
Strong software architecture and implementation expertise using a language such as Java, Python, or C++.
Significant experience with frameworks such as Spring, React.js, or Node.js.
Strong understanding of software engineering design principles and practices for scalable, maintainable systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Preferred: experience with internationalization and localization strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
Preferred: specialized knowledge of Unicode, ISO standards, localization frameworks, and globalization tooling.
Preferred: experience building accessible UIs and driving WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance, including automated checks, CI gating, accessible component libraries, and accessibility conformance reporting.
Preferred: experience working on platform teams that treat developers as customers.
