Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable full-stack solutions.
Develop responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Build and optimize server-side components using Node.js and design efficient data storage and retrieval solutions with Postgres.
Contribute to platform architecture, scalability decisions, technology choices, and system integrations.
Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor developers.
Own technically challenging cross-functional projects from strategy through execution.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, customers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile development processes.
Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks for the platform.

Requirements

Extensive professional full-stack development experience, ideally primarily in startup environments.
Extensive experience working with the stated technology stack.
Experience owning technically challenging and demanding cross-functional projects.
Ability to identify valuable projects, communicate strategy, and execute autonomously.
Strong attention to important details and commitment to high-quality work.
Customer-first mindset and interest in speaking with customers to improve the product.
Habit of introspection and understanding factors contributing to past success.
