Responsibilities

Define and lead large-scale initiatives that improve backend development frameworks, tooling, and shared libraries.
Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions for backend services.
Guide the evolution of static analysis, formatting systems, service scaffolding, and other core developer tooling.
Partner with infrastructure, security, and product engineering teams on platform improvements.
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on code quality, system design, and development practices.

Requirements

Extensive experience building and scaling backend systems using Go and Python.
Deep knowledge of backend frameworks such as Django, gRPC, or comparable systems in Go.
Experience designing internal platforms, developer tooling such as Bazel, or shared infrastructure used by multiple teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and influence engineering direction across teams.
Commitment to improving developer workflows, system quality, and maintainability through thoughtful design.
