Responsibilities

Design and own the feature-store architecture supporting credit decisioning.
Define schemas, point-in-time correctness, freshness SLAs, pipeline patterns, modeling standards, and lineage approaches.
Build reference implementations and lead the highest-complexity, highest-risk data initiatives.
Enable cross-domain feature reuse across regulated entities.
Design agent loops covering context, tools, evaluations, and guardrails for reliable, observable, and cost-controlled agentic engineering.
Set technical standards and mentor engineers through influence without direct authority.
Drive performance, reliability, data quality, observability, lineage, and cost engineering across the data platform.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in data engineering at scale.
5+ years of experience with Spark, Databricks, or equivalent lakehouse architecture.
Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and Python, including 7+ years with Python.
Experience with performance and cost engineering.
3+ years of experience with agentic coding tools and loop engineering, including context and tool design, evaluations, and guardrails.
Strong experience with data quality, observability, lineage, and GDPR-aware governance.
Technical leadership experience setting standards and mentoring through influence.
Fluent English at B2+ level.
