Staff Software Engineer, Dev Ops in USA

Responsibilities

  • Lead DevOps initiatives, define infrastructure and deployment standards, drive modernization, and mentor engineers across teams.
  • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and software delivery automation.
  • Architect and maintain highly available cloud environments across AWS and Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Design and support containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration, scalability, observability, and automation.
  • Build automated provisioning, configuration management, compliance, monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response solutions.
  • Partner with Security teams on cloud security, identity management, access controls, encryption, compliance, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant architectures.
  • Influence technical strategy and improve scalability, reliability, operational efficiency, and developer productivity across multiple engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure and software delivery platforms.
  • Experience leading complex DevOps, cloud modernization, or platform engineering initiatives in SaaS organizations.
  • Experience architecting highly available and fault-tolerant systems for mission-critical workloads.
  • Advanced expertise with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure and strong experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and modern container orchestration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and network security.
  • Experience implementing cloud security frameworks, identity management, and compliance controls.
  • Working knowledge of .NET Core, .NET Framework, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Preferred qualifications include cloud platform or Kubernetes certifications, globally distributed platform experience, disaster recovery and business continuity expertise, OAuth and WS-Security knowledge, SRE and observability experience, Atlassian Jira experience, and enterprise SaaS background.
