Responsibilities

Own significant portions of the Developer Platform across monorepo CI/CD, Agentic AI infrastructure, and shared build systems.
Author architectural design documents and ensure platform software is reliable, secure, performant, scalable, and maintainable.
Improve the speed, reliability, and developer experience of monorepo CI/CD pipelines.
Develop agent-driven change workflows with automated validation, AI-assisted review, and auto-merge for low-risk changes.
Productionize Agentic AI capabilities including structured traces, cost tracking, debuggability, shared memory, and context-engineering patterns.
Consolidate fragmented build systems and create standardized paved-road blueprints for product onboarding and production delivery.
Identify developer toil and automate repetitive work while treating internal engineering teams as platform customers.
Mentor engineers, raise the quality of design and code review, and contribute to technical direction and operational excellence.

Requirements

8+ years building and operating production services and platform infrastructure in modern cloud environments.
Proficiency with Go or strong readiness to ramp up quickly.
Deep expertise in CI/CD systems, container-based orchestration, and tooling for large monorepos across build, test, and release.
Experience contributing to technical direction across multiple teams, evaluating tradeoffs, deprecating legacy systems, and aligning teams around target architectures.
Familiarity with production Agentic AI or LLM-based automation and interest in context engineering, including RAG, memory, and tool-calling.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to identify and automate repetitive engineering work.
Experience scaling GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, Buildkite, or comparable high-throughput build and workflow systems is preferred.
Experience scaling change throughput beyond traditional pull-request workflows is preferred.
Experience with DORA or SPACE metrics and related instrumentation is preferred.
Experience operating a large Go monorepo and its surrounding tooling is preferred.
Familiarity with supply chain security, OCI, Kubernetes, or open source software communities is preferred.
Experience publishing internal-platform milestones and running stakeholder feedback loops is preferred.
