Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and development of scalable Node.js services and APIs.
Design and operate AWS infrastructure with AWS CDK and TypeScript for secure, scalable, multi-environment deployments.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeBuild.
Drive modernization, clean architecture, refactoring, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL and MSSQL solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Build and integrate React and TypeScript applications with backend services.
Drive cloud, DevOps, and software engineering best practices across teams.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership for complex engineering initiatives.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience delivering and operating scalable software systems.
Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend architecture.
Mandatory production experience with AWS, including EC2/ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
Experience designing and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Strong React and TypeScript experience integrating frontends with backend services.
Strong understanding of software design principles, clean architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and influencing engineering standards across teams.
Preferred experience with Docker, ECS, GitHub Actions, Datadog, Grafana, AWS CDK or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools, cloud security, compliance, FinOps, multi-account AWS environments, serverless architectures, AWS Bedrock, RAG, and LLM-based applications.
