Staff Threat & Attack Research Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze sophisticated cyber threats targeting Anduril products, infrastructure, and personnel.
  • Research, mitigate, and anticipate emerging technical trends in the threat landscape.
  • Collaborate with detection and response teams to provide timely, actionable intelligence for investigations.
  • Work with offensive security teams on product and infrastructure red-team engagements.
  • Enhance threat actor tracking tools and intelligence data integrations.
  • Build joint capabilities and exchange information with external partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience analyzing complex threat actor campaigns, including supply chain and infrastructure threats, and developing long-term countermeasures.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Rust, Golang, or Swift.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred: knowledge of nation-state, sophisticated criminal, or supply chain threats; experience creating YARA or Snort rules and signatures; production coding experience for threat intelligence tools; large-scale data analysis expertise; connections in the security and threat intelligence community; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective teamwork; and experience with Vertex Synapse.
