Summer Software Internship in USA

Responsibilities

  • Develop software for spacecraft simulations and environment simulations.
  • Integrate software with human-computer interfaces and flight computer data interfaces.
  • Build custom development and integration tools.
  • Support human spaceflight programs or internal research and development projects.
  • Perform hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interest in software development, initiative, and aptitude for hands-on problem solving.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to the federal nature of the position.
  • Desired: software development experience in a Linux environment.
  • Desired: working knowledge of C++ and Python.
  • Desired: experience with source control, unit testing, issue tracking, and continuous integration tools.
