Responsibilities

  • Define and design technical architectures for platform components, features, and services.
  • Translate product and business requirements into scalable, resilient system designs.
  • Validate architectures through prototyping, test plans, and design reviews.
  • Produce design documentation and functional specifications.
  • Partner with engineers and product managers to align technical approaches.
  • Share architectural best practices and technology trends with engineering teams.
  • Mentor engineers and act as a trusted technical voice across product teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Prior experience as an architect, tech lead, or senior engineer.
  • Experience delivering components across multiple products or services.
  • Strong foundation in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with microservices and REST or gRPC API design.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent; equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes production event-driven or SOA architectures, automotive retail, DMS, enterprise SaaS, and relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Professional Architect.
