Test Automation Engineer

Test Automation Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Execute automated and manual tests to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through the full bug lifecycle.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Improve test coverage, efficiency, and QA best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in test automation engineering or a related QA role.
  • Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
