Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer wireless and embedded systems to identify vulnerabilities and assess their security impact.
  • Develop proof-of-concept exploits for discovered vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze firmware, software protections, and wireless protocols for security flaws.
  • Develop and use custom tools to analyze and manipulate software and firmware binaries.
  • Collaborate with CNO developers, vulnerability researchers, and hardware engineers.
  • Solve complex technical challenges without predefined solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and scripting in C/C++ and Python in Linux command-line environments, including low-level programming, memory management, and system interaction.
  • Experience with reverse engineering and vulnerability research using IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
  • Expertise in at least one area such as firmware analysis, firmware rehosting, fuzzing and exploit development, binary obfuscation, wireless protocols and radio signal analysis, or file-system forensics and fault-injection frameworks.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, or HTTP network protocols.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US TS/SCI security clearance; active Top Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include embedded-system vulnerability research, defeating ASLR, DEP, and stack canaries, cellular standards, low-bandwidth communications, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and client-facing technical experience.

Salary: $112k - $168k/yr
