Responsibilities

  • Design and build conversion-focused landing pages, campaign sites, and brand experiences from concept through production front-end code.
  • Own the look and feel of corporate and marketing websites across multiple brands and concurrent initiatives.
  • Implement technical SEO, metadata, structured data, site architecture, accessibility, performance, and responsive web experiences.
  • Maintain existing websites through redesigns, migrations, template improvements, and campaign-page upkeep.
  • Collaborate with web designers, illustrators, marketing, product engineers, web engineers, and DevOps.
  • Present and defend design and implementation decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Scope, sequence, size, and quality-check work, including design QA of implementations created by others.
  • Work across design and development responsibilities while coordinating multiple launches and shifting priorities.

Requirements

  • Portfolio of shipped web work with live URLs and underlying code preferred.
  • Strong production front-end skills using semantic HTML, modern CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a framework such as React, Next, or Astro.
  • Strong design craft in typography, layout, hierarchy, brand application, and browser-based design, with Figma fluency.
  • Experience with conversion-oriented web design, CMS platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, or Webflow, and marketer-oriented content workflows.
  • Comfort with Git-based version control, branches, code review, and CI workflows.
  • Experience with cross-browser and real-device testing, accessibility including WCAG, keyboard navigation, and screen readers, and web performance.
  • Strong written, presentation, documentation, async communication, collaboration, and self-direction skills.
  • Interest in using AI tools to prototype and iterate faster.
  • Preferred experience with component libraries or design systems, full-stack development, product design and development, DevOps, regulated industries, experimentation and analytics, motion, localization, and visual design.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional web design and front-end development experience.
