Responsibilities

  • Design, create, test, maintain, and troubleshoot websites and web-based applications.
  • Gather and analyze requirements and determine effective web technologies and specifications.
  • Create visually pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces and integrate technology components into coherent site designs.
  • Support website planning and deployment, configuration management, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Write and maintain technical website documentation.
  • Develop, test, maintain, and support high-performance web applications in coordination with the software development lead.
  • Integrate new web products with existing web applications and resolve complex software problems.
  • Work independently on more complex projects while following formal development, delivery, legal, standards, and guideline requirements.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
  • Eight years of experience as a Web Developer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required, with four additional years of Web Developer experience permitted as a substitution.
  • Experience with HTML, Visual Basic, Java, CGI, XML, web-based programming, graphics software applications, databases, and e-business applications is expected.
  • Ability to work with management and information technologists, troubleshoot software issues, and independently handle complex projects.
