Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop multiple production web applications using modern Angular and SvelteKit.
  • Write performant, optimized frontend code that scales with the user base.
  • Contribute to automated testing and improve test coverage to reduce regression bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews and help establish effective development processes.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, UX Designers, and QA teams on feature delivery.
  • Debug complex issues across the frontend/backend boundary and integrate APIs.
  • Deploy features through the CI/CD pipeline from QA through pre-production to production.
  • Use AI tools including LLMs, GitHub Copilot, and custom agents to accelerate development.
  • Provide accurate estimates and deliver on commitments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–4 years of focused, continuous experience in JavaScript or similar languages.
  • Strong modern JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+.
  • Strong TypeScript, Node.js, CSS, DOM, API integration, testing, Git, performance optimization, and responsive-design skills.
  • Understanding of CORS, browser event traversal, frontend/backend debugging, and appropriate test selection.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with LLMs and leverage AI development tools.
  • Experience with Angular or SvelteKit, or genuine interest in learning them.
  • Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks and backend API development is preferred.
  • Understanding of Docker, multi-platform builds, web services, load balancers, reverse proxies, and HTTP requests is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Playwright or Selenium, GitHub Actions, AWS services, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers is preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum familiarity and Test-Driven Development practice are preferred.
