Web UI Engineer in Canada

  • Toronto

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Build interfaces supporting real-time data, analytics, and charting capabilities.
  • Integrate third-party design systems into existing React applications while maintaining usability and consistency.
  • Develop dynamic, data-rich solutions using grid technologies and WebSockets.
  • Collaborate with design, product, technology, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable UI solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience developing web applications with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with grid technologies and WebSockets in data-rich or real-time applications.
  • Experience integrating third-party design systems into React applications.
  • Knowledge of analytics, charting, and real-time data solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate across design, product, and technology teams.
  • Experience in financial services or capital markets, real-time pricing, financial analytics, risk systems, or enterprise environments is preferred.
