Responsibilities

  • Independently develop and manage AI and automation projects, including RAG-supported data processing and automated customer communication.
  • Use automation platforms to rapidly prototype AI applications.
  • Work with Process and Operations teams to understand operational challenges and develop suitable solutions.
  • Evaluate solution impact using clearly measurable KPIs.
  • Document workflows in the company knowledge base and help make team context usable for AI agents.
  • Evaluate new AI tools and automation platforms and propose process improvements.

Requirements

  • Currently studying Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable subject, or having demonstrated technical experience and affinity.
  • Practical experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach and willingness to drive initiatives.
  • Must remain enrolled at a German university for at least two more semesters.
  • Availability for 15–20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks.
  • Fluent German communication skills at at least C1 level.
  • Prior energy-industry experience is welcome but not required.
