Wireless Software AI ML Engineer in Others new

Responsibilities

  • Investigate AI/ML methods for analyzing application traffic patterns.
  • Explore intelligent baseband optimizations for cellular and wireless connectivity.
  • Apply wireless communications and machine learning knowledge to Apple products and user experiences.
  • Analyze and debug wireless and ML systems in collaboration with the Wireless Software team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Available for a full-time internship of at least 6 months based in Beijing.
  • Foundational knowledge of wireless communications or cellular network protocol stacks, including LTE and 5G NR.
  • Understanding of core machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
  • Experience with standard ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-Learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
  • Preferred: familiarity with 5G NR protocol architecture and radio resource management concepts.
  • Preferred: knowledge of multimedia streaming protocols and gaming QoS/QoE requirements.
  • Preferred: experience with lightweight on-device ML model deployment or runtime optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
