Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain real-time, mission-critical software for satellite operations.
  • Write scripts to aggregate satellite data and generate system monitoring metrics.
  • Analyze satellite data to identify issues and inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Drive improvements to fleet capacity and productivity through process enhancements.
  • Monitor satellite health, triage and resolve anomalies, and run on-orbit experiments.
  • Test and deploy software on the ground and in orbit and support satellite commissioning.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software experts to debug anomalies and enhance or create operational services.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BSc in engineering or computer science.
  • Proficiency in software development, particularly Python or equivalent languages.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach to engineering and problem-solving.
  • Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills within a technical team.
