Astro Mechanica

Astro Mechanica is a San Francisco–based aerospace company developing supersonic airframes and dual-use propulsion systems, including its proprietary Duality platform, for defense and commercial aviation. It plans to pair these systems with a new flight operations model to enable high-speed point-to-point transport, and is currently building adaptable high-speed systems for the U.S. government. Founded in 2021, it is privately held and backed by investors including Andreessen Horowitz and United Airlines Ventures.
