Responsibilities

Lead the architecture design and development of Coupang Pay’s iOS applications.
Lead system design and technical decisions in collaboration with senior and junior engineers.
Serve as a technical leader on mission-critical projects and solve complex business problems.
Mentor engineers and help improve engineering excellence and professional growth.
Design and implement innovative, customer-focused mobile payment experiences.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver strong user experiences.
Define iOS technical direction and best practices and promote them across the organization.
Guide engineers in producing high-quality architecture and design while improving product quality and productivity.

Requirements

At least 6 years of iOS application development experience.
Extensive experience developing services with Swift.
Experience developing and operating large-scale consumer applications and mission-critical services.
Strong understanding of modern iOS technologies including UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and async/await.
Experience with mobile application performance optimization, memory management, network processing, and application architecture design.
Experience developing B2C services.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred experience designing and developing SDKs.
Preferred experience developing payment, fintech, banking, or wallet services.
Preferred experience with authentication, security, or payment processing.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse teams in a rapidly changing environment.
Experience in e-commerce or O2O domains is preferred.

Benefits

Permanent employment based in Seoul, South Korea.
Includes a 12-week probationary period, which may be waived, shortened, or extended when necessary for business reasons.
