Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Android features supporting advertising monetisation in mobile streaming applications.
Implement ad tracking, measurement, ad decisioning integrations, and reliable ad experiences across live, linear, and on-demand content.
Collaborate with backend and platform teams on client-side and server-side ad insertion workflows.
Improve app performance, stability, observability, playback quality, and user experience.
Participate in technical discovery, architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, releases, and production troubleshooting.
Work with developers, backend engineers, product managers, designers, analytics specialists, commercial stakeholders, and partners.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant software engineering experience focused on building and scaling Android applications.
Experience developing customer-focused products and working with complex mobile user journeys.
Strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, or modern Android frameworks.
Understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, testing, debugging, and maintainable code design.
Experience with video playback, streaming, media applications, or other client or TV applications is valuable.
Experience with Jetpack Compose, advertising technology, streaming ad formats, ad SDKs, ad tracking, measurement, AVOD, FAST, live streaming, OTT, ExoPlayer/Media3, DRM, analytics, experimentation, or observability is a bonus.
