Responsibilities

  • Build native Android applications from scratch using best practices and coding standards.
  • Define API requirements, consume web services, and process results efficiently.
  • Create prototypes demonstrating new Android technologies and approaches.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to solve technical and product challenges.
  • Follow UI/UX guidelines and participate in Agile development processes to deliver features end to end.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, the Android platform, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with Android Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modern Android development practices.
  • Experience integrating Android applications with web services and APIs, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
  • Understanding of XML, JSON, client/server architectures, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Advanced English proficiency and the ability to collaborate directly with US-based stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
