Responsibilities

  • Lead ingestion, pre-checking, conflict resolution, and merge validation for AOSP Google Security Bulletins and chipset-vendor security advisories.
  • Manage complex branch merges across Android Generic Frameworks and device-specific repositories for Android versions 11 through 17.
  • Architect, build, and maintain automated software delivery pipelines using Python, web services, and emerging LLM frameworks.
  • Develop AI agents to automate tasks such as Git conflict resolution, log parsing, code synthesis, and build-failure triage.
  • Analyze platform crashes, tombstones, ANRs, kernel-level regressions, and other stability issues as the lead escalation point.
  • Implement GKI, SELinux, and pKVM requirements while reducing manual bottlenecks in security-update pipelines.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Android architecture, core system services, and Android Generic Frameworks.
  • Expert mastery of Git and Gerrit, including complex branching, cherry-picks, and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, REST APIs, databases, and web technologies for building developer-infrastructure tools.
  • Experience integrating with Gerrit, Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
  • Practical experience or strong understanding of AI-driven automation using LLMs for log parsing, code synthesis, or intelligent triaging.
