Responsibilities

  • Build modular, reusable Android components and features.
  • Optimize rendering performance for highly interactive mobile platforms.
  • Improve mobile design and implementation processes to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Optimize code to improve application scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product design, product management, and software engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Understand and debug large, complex codebases while producing maintainable, well-documented code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent major with Android development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
  • Ability to understand and debug large, complex codebases.
  • Strong team communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to promote robust, maintainable code and clear documentation while delivering high-quality work on a tight schedule.
  • Preferred: at least five years of relevant experience in a large-scale internet business.
  • Preferred: payment domain knowledge.
