Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services for digital asset operations.
  • Build APIs and microservices for wallet administration, asset transfers, transaction signing, and custody workflows.
  • Integrate blockchain SaaS vendors, institutional custody providers, HSMs, vault solutions, and key custody platforms.
  • Design secure key management processes and support cryptographic operations including signing, encryption, and secure key storage.
  • Develop wallet provisioning, lifecycle management, custody, multi-signature, approval, segregation-of-duties, and privileged-access workflows.
  • Conduct security reviews and threat modeling while supporting high availability, scalability, monitoring, secure deployments, and incident analysis.
  • Collaborate with architects, blockchain engineers, compliance specialists, product stakeholders, DevOps, and Security Engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English communication skills at C1 level or above.
  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, preferably Java 17 or later.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, microservice architectures, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred qualifications include MPC custody solutions, institutional custody provider integrations, blockchain security, smart contract risks, Azure, ISO 27001, SOC2, financial security standards, and Agile/Scrum environments.
