Responsibilities

  • Develop software for ARM processors and microprocessors.
  • Build and support communications capabilities for military vehicles and command posts.
  • Work on intercom and networking products.
  • Retrofit tanks and armored vehicles with communications equipment.
  • Collaborate with the TacCIS Solutions team on embedded and software development projects.
  • Work in a hybrid environment split between home and an electronics laboratory.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Must be enrolled at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution and eligible for a co-op work term during the specified period.
  • Experience with embedded development using C or C++.
  • Experience with software development using C#.
  • Experience with web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Node.js.
  • Experience with Git, Linux and/or Windows development, and VS Code.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML models.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada and meet applicable security assessment and Canadian government security clearance requirements.
