Responsibilities

Develop embedded C and C++ applications for the Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC.
Design and implement algorithms for efficient data transfer and processing.
Design and develop APIs for communication between applications.
Develop embedded Linux firmware for interfacing with hardware components.
Test C and C++ applications.
Develop, maintain, and integrate software development tools.
Improve CI/CD infrastructure.
Collaborate with software and hardware development coworkers.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
C/C++ programming experience.
Strong understanding of data structures.
Basic understanding of Linux and experience with Git.
Understanding of electrical concepts, basic signal processing, logic, and algorithms.
Ability to work onsite on Tuesday and Thursday.
Preferred qualifications include Python or Java programming, advanced Linux, FPGA development, electrical engineering knowledge, FreeRTOS or another RTOS, U-Boot, Bash scripting, and one to two prior internships.

Benefits

The co-op runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
The position is based onsite in Waltham, Massachusetts, with onsite work required Tuesday and Thursday.
