Cyber Security Engineer I Penetration in USA

Responsibilities

  • Deliver security testing across Honeywell Building Automation.
  • Develop modular, repeatable, and effective security testing processes.
  • Select, implement, develop, and automate testing with appropriate tools in partnership with the Tools and Technology Team.
  • Identify security defects and provide remediation suggestions to cross-functional teams.
  • Report security observations using the standardized reporting structure.
  • Support cybersecurity solution design and implementation and stay informed about emerging threats and technologies.

Requirements

  • Cybersecurity capabilities and strong software engineering skills.
  • Exposure to security testing within the relevant domain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 6–24 months of experience in security testing.
  • Understanding of security-by-design principles and architecture-level security concepts.
  • Current knowledge of security threats and techniques for exploiting vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools.
  • Relevant security certifications are preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Public speaking experience at technical conferences is preferred.
