Responsibilities

  • Build and operate large-scale distributed systems supporting AI-ready web search.
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for indexing, retrieval, and monitoring.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and observability across environments.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and resource usage.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design.
  • Collaborate with ML and backend teams on CI/CD and model deployment workflows.
  • Write maintainable infrastructure code and participate in code reviews.
  • Debug production issues, optimize infrastructure bottlenecks, and build observability and alerting systems.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
  • Interest in performance, reliability, system observability, AI infrastructure, data pipelines, and large-scale retrieval systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
  • Interest in Linkup’s mission to build web search for AI agents.
