Full-Stack Developer (Laravel + Inertia/Vue)
Greenwood Capital has developed a proprietary business lending platform used by brokerage teams to move loan applications from initial enquiry through to lender underwriting and funding payout. The product sits at the centre of day-to-day operations including status and process workflows, third party API integrations and management reporting.
About the role
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain end-to-end features in our Laravel + Inertia/Vue codebase, whilst migrating to a scalable multi-tenant SaaS platform. You’ll own work from schema and API through UI and tests, on a lending platform used daily for workflows, third-party integrations, and reporting. You’ll also help design and ship AI-backed backend capabilities that support real operational tasks — grounded in deal data, built for production, and ready to scale across tenants.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain features across the full application tech stack
- Integrate and extend third-party API services and integrations
- Evolve the codebase into a multi-tenant SaaS platform
- Extend the use of background jobs and real-time data processing
- Ship product-facing AI that automates workflows across the lending pipeline
- Write feature/unit tests to keep changes reviewable and production-safe
- Uphold existing conventions and set new standards for product integrity
What we’re after
- Commercial experience using the Laravel framework and ecosystem
- Solid project examples using Vue 3 and Inertia.js (TypeScript preferred)
- Strong knowledge of authentication, external APIs and webhooks
- Practical AI product work — not just prompt tinkering
- Confident owning features from schema/API through UI and tests
- Familiarity with Laravel Cloud, Nightwatch and AWS S3
- Prior work in fintech or regulated financial services an advantage
- The ability to work independently with high individual ownership
What we offer
Full-Time Remote/Hybrid Role
This is a full-time role with flexibility to work remotely, hybrid, or from the office in Manchester, UK, depending on your preference.
Competitive Salary
We offer a competitive salary of £60k-£70k p/a depending on experience, with room to grow as the platform evolves.
Holiday Entitlement
You’ll start with 28 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays) incrementing by one day for each full year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days.
Direct Impact
This isn’t a maintenance-only role — you’ll have genuine influence in helping define standards, challenge assumptions and shape the product as it scales.
