Responsibilities

  • Design and implement performant, maintainable web applications using TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node/FastAPI/Go.
  • Build and operate distributed backends with Postgres, Redis, and task queues.
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform or CDK on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Implement CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and incident-response workflows.
  • Collaborate with product and robotics teams to integrate data, telemetry, and control interfaces.
  • Build customer-facing and internal tools.
  • Own and maintain the cloud and infrastructure layer for scalable applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • U.S. permanent residency is required.
  • Experience developing full-stack web applications and backend APIs.
  • Experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node/FastAPI/Go, Postgres, Redis, and queues.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployments using Terraform or CDK on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Preferred experience with GitHub Actions, Argo, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Sentry, and iOS or Android app development.
  • Ability to work in an early-stage startup environment with long days and six-day workweeks.
