Responsibilities

  • Develop Java Spring Boot microservices and backend solutions.
  • Design and develop API frameworks using SOAP and REST web services.
  • Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to create solutions that meet business needs.
  • Assess application and process improvement opportunities and build stakeholder alignment.
  • Report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks to stakeholders and the team.
  • Lead technical aspects of API framework design and development.
  • Understand and support production incident analysis and root-cause analysis for delivered features.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, web services, microservices, SOAP, and REST.
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
  • Basic database knowledge.
  • Experience with TDD and BDD.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Knowledge of Kafka and workflows such as Camunda BPM.
