Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, secure enterprise software solutions.
  • Build and manage distributed applications and event-driven architectures using Java and Apache Kafka.
  • Evolve cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support reliable delivery of digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and align technical solutions.
  • Lead technical direction across distributed teams, mentor developers, and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Apply secure coding, unit testing, risk management, controls, and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Hands-on Java development experience with enterprise-level applications and distributed system design and architecture.
  • Proficiency with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native application development.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Strong technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, monitoring and observability tools, and Agile/Scrum is valued.
