Lead Engineer (Accounting Core Team) in USA

Responsibilities

  • Modernize monolithic components by refactoring them into distributed, scalable architectures.
  • Lead major code design decisions and develop technical solutions aligned with long-term engineering frameworks.
  • Deliver and operate complex, large-scale, distributed, and high-availability systems.
  • Build and maintain software using C#, .NET, React, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Improve developer experience through engineering tooling and development practices.
  • Mentor and coach engineers while contributing to technical standards, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering and operating complex large-scale systems in distributed or high-availability environments.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to ramp quickly across adjacent technologies.
  • Experience designing and building high-quality software across a range of languages and tools.
  • Ability to lead major code design decisions and contribute to broader technical solutioning.
  • Experience with automated testing, refactoring, and agile delivery practices.
  • Passion for technical excellence, proactive knowledge sharing, and mentoring other engineers.
