Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver complex end-to-end web application features with high quality and within agreed timelines.
  • Design, code, test, document, and refactor software independently and collaboratively.
  • Review team code and recommend improvements to quality and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with architects to review and propose architectural changes and ensure their quality implementation.
  • Work with business analysts to estimate complexity and workload, select technical solutions, and refine requirements into working software.
  • Provide technical recommendations, solve technical problems, and collaborate with other IT teams.
  • Interact effectively with globally distributed and multicultural teams.

Requirements

  • 10–12 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • At least two years of hands-on experience as a technical lead providing solutions to a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, WCF, REST, WebAPI, and Entity Framework.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Angular 2 or later, Jasmine, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL databases and PowerShell.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, object-oriented design, UML, SOLID principles, design patterns, SOA, and n-tier architecture.
  • Experience with NUnit or Microsoft Unit Testing, unit testing frameworks, and UI testing frameworks.
  • Experience with TDD, BDD, and Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Familiarity with WPF and experience with ESB or message queuing such as MSMQ are advantages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, MCA, or another relevant discipline; postgraduate education is also acceptable.
  • Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with laboratory-related applications is an added advantage.
