Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, document, and deliver complex software features using Microsoft-stack technologies.
  • Review team code, recommend improvements, and refactor existing code to improve quality.
  • Collaborate with architects to review and propose architectural changes and ensure quality implementation.
  • Work with business analysts to estimate complexity and workload, select technical solutions, and refine requirements.
  • Interact constructively with other IT teams and provide technical recommendations to solve problems.
  • Support quality practices including unit testing, UI testing, TDD, BDD, and architectural design.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of total experience, including 10–12 years developing end-to-end web applications with Microsoft technologies.
  • At least two years of hands-on technical leadership experience providing solutions to a team.
  • Strong experience with .NET web application development, C#, SOLID principles, design patterns, n-tier architecture, and at least one SOA project.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, object-oriented design, UML, TDD, BDD, and unit-testing frameworks.
  • Experience with .NET, C#, MVC, WCF, REST, Web API, NUnit or Microsoft Unit Testing, and Entity Framework.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Angular 2 or above, Jasmine, HTML5, CSS3, Microsoft SQL databases, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of ESB or message queuing, particularly MSMQ, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with UI testing frameworks and WPF.
  • Engineering graduate or postgraduate qualification, or a BE in Computer Science, MCA, or another bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to work across global teams and cultures.
  • Experience with laboratory-related applications is an advantage.
