Responsibilities

  • Design, build, release, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
  • Lead complex mobile features from technical design and architecture through implementation, testing, release, and production support.
  • Design scalable mobile architecture and reusable components for long-term product development.
  • Build and evolve VoIP, calling, mobile calling integrations, and related voice capabilities.
  • Integrate mobile applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication systems, third-party services, and backend platforms.
  • Develop reliable workflows involving state management, offline functionality, push notifications, and complex application behavior.
  • Identify and resolve mobile performance, reliability, security, scalability, and production issues across iOS and Android.
  • Develop automated tests, monitoring practices, and reliable mobile build and release processes.
  • Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and support broader technical growth.
  • Partner with product, design, backend, QA, and engineering leadership to deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while validating code quality, security, testing, and technical decisions.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of software development experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on React Native experience.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and cross-platform mobile development.
  • Hands-on experience building VoIP or calling features or mobile calling integrations for iOS and Android.
  • Experience designing scalable mobile application architecture and reusable component libraries.
  • Experience building, releasing, and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android.
  • Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication, state management, offline support, push notifications, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with mobile performance optimization, security, automated testing, monitoring, and production debugging.
  • Understanding of Xcode, Android Studio, native build systems, Git, and mobile release processes.
  • Ability to independently lead complex features from technical design through production release.
  • Experience conducting code reviews, defining engineering standards, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor responsibly.
  • Strong communication, technical decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with Swift, Kotlin, native-module development, Expo, Firebase, Sentry, Crashlytics, React Native New Architecture, Fabric, TurboModules, AI or generative features, and mobile-platform modernization.
