Lead Software Engineer in Test in Others

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term vision and roadmap for scalable mobile end-to-end testing.
  • Build and improve mobile test automation platforms, services, developer tooling, and integration capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of common testing tools, standards, governance, quality gates, and release-readiness practices across engineering teams.
  • Improve CI/CD test execution efficiency, reliability, recovery, reporting, diagnostics, and flaky-test management.
  • Standardize test metadata and quality signals to support data-driven release decisions.
  • Improve developer experience across Android and iOS testing workflows.
  • Mentor engineers through coaching, feedback, design reviews, technical guidance, and hands-on collaboration.
  • Partner with Engineering, QA, Release, and Product stakeholders to achieve measurable quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in automated mobile testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Android and iOS end-to-end testing and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience defining and delivering strategy and roadmaps for mobile test automation at scale.
  • Experience driving adoption of engineering tools, processes, standards, governance, and quality gates across teams.
  • Ability to improve test reliability and execution speed through sharding, retries, failure analysis, and flaky-test management.
  • Ability to build maintainable automation platforms, services, and integration tooling.
  • Strong mentoring, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
  • Preferred experience with large-scale mobile CI, device labs or farms, release pipeline operations, test reporting, analytics, quality data platforms, and Android/iOS verification tooling.
