Responsibilities

Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art language models.
Develop AI agents combined with retrieval-augmented language models.
Build efficient and scalable machine learning training and inference systems.
Track current research literature and emerging technologies to solve novel problems.
Collaborate with product and design teams to develop intuitive applications with societal impact.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience with PyTorch and Transformers.
Experience advancing cutting-edge machine learning.
Ability to independently pitch, plan, and implement projects as an owner.
Ability to take on multiple responsibilities and provide leadership as the team grows.
Visa to work in Canada or the United States.
Strong open-source portfolio is a bonus.
Publications at top-tier machine learning venues are a bonus.
Early-stage startup experience is a bonus.
Understanding of how machine learning models fail in real-world settings is a bonus.

Salary: $150k - $250k/yr
