Responsibilities

Own desktop features from concept and design through implementation and launch.
Build the core desktop application and contribute to features across the full stack.
Develop voice input, audio, screen understanding, and agent-action capabilities across desktop applications and the web.
Integrate with macOS and Windows system APIs, permissions, notifications, background processes, hardware, and external devices.
Design reusable APIs and supporting tooling and infrastructure using Rust, C++, TypeScript, and Go.
Partner with researchers and model engineers to bring new AI capabilities to the desktop.
Improve performance, testing, monitoring, stability, and secure handling of user data.

Requirements

4+ years of experience building technically complex features end to end.
Strong Rust or C++ development skills, particularly in Chromium or Electron-like browser application frameworks.
Experience building desktop applications on macOS and Windows, including OS-level integration.
Track record of making native applications fast, stable, and efficient, with attention to memory, CPU, and startup performance.
Ability to take ownership of ambiguous, high-impact problems and move from prototype to production.

Benefits

Full-time position with a US base salary range of $170,000-$400,000 annually.
Additional compensation components and benefits may be included depending on the specific role.
Work centers on building a native desktop experience for macOS and Windows in collaboration with research, model engineering, design, and hardware teams.
