Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end technical design of Power Platform applications, including solution architecture, Dataverse models, security, integrations, and front-end design.
  • Design and develop Power Pages sites with templates, Liquid, forms, lists, permissions, authentication, and external user access.
  • Build responsive Power Pages front ends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, custom components, client-side validation, and the Dataverse Web API.
  • Design and build model-driven and canvas Power Apps, including forms, views, business rules, client scripting, and performance considerations.
  • Implement Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, calculated and rollup fields, and role-, team-, business-unit-, row-, and column-level security.
  • Develop C#/.NET plug-ins, custom APIs, custom workflow activities, REST integrations, and Dataverse Web API integrations.
  • Build custom Power Apps Component Framework controls using TypeScript and React.
  • Lead developers through task breakdown, technical guidance, code reviews, issue resolution, and quality accountability.
  • Own ALM and release practices, including solution management, environment strategy, source control, deployment pipelines, and configuration/data migration.
  • Set engineering standards for coding, naming, reusable components, performance, accessibility, and security.
  • Own portal non-functional quality, including performance, caching, scalability, WCAG compliance, and security hardening.
  • Support estimation, sprint planning, technical risk identification, client technical discussions, mentoring, and reusable practice accelerators.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of overall application development experience with substantial recent Microsoft Power Platform delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience building Power Apps, including model-driven and/or canvas apps, through production delivery.
  • Deep Power Pages or Power Apps Portals experience covering web templates, Liquid, forms, lists, permissions, web roles, authentication, and external-facing sites.
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, responsive design, and Bootstrap skills, including custom UI development.
  • Deep Dataverse expertise in data modeling, relationships, business rules, and security models.
  • Experience with the Dataverse Web API, REST integration patterns, authentication, and error handling.
  • C#/.NET experience developing plug-ins, custom APIs, and custom workflow activities.
  • Experience with Power Apps Component Framework and TypeScript for custom controls.
  • Solid ALM experience with solution management, environment strategy, Git source control, and automated or repeatable deployments.
  • Proven technical leadership experience owning design decisions, conducting code reviews, guiding developers, and ensuring technical quality.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and functional teams, explain trade-offs, and challenge requirements constructively.
  • Strong full-stack debugging and troubleshooting skills across browsers, portal runtimes, Dataverse, and integrations.
  • Preferred qualifications include PL-400, PL-600, or PL-200 certification; React, Angular, or Vue experience; public-facing portal delivery; Azure services; Dynamics 365; WCAG accessibility; automated testing; global SI delivery; and reusable component or framework contributions.
